About Me
Bonjour! Jó napot! I am Eszter, a Hungarian born California based certified multilingual educator with over a decade of experience teaching French, English and Hungarian across continents and classrooms. My academic background includes two Master’s Degrees, one in French and the other one in English, both with teacher training qualifications. I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Language and Literature and finished a 3-year-long Specialization in Teaching Hungarian as a Foreign Language. I am holder of California Teaching Credentials in Single Subject English and World Languages French. My teaching path has taken me through high schools, language schools and the university-level Budapest Business School where I taught both academic and professional French. I also designed and delivered specialized medical French courses tailored for dentists. Now based in the Bay Area, I weave cultural richness, play-based learning and personalized guidance into each of my lessons. Currently I am an educator at a public elementary school in the East Bay and teacher of the Kányádi Sándor Hungarian School on the Peninsula. My student-centered approach combines the communicative method with clear, intuitive grammar explanations and tailor-made lessons that help learners feel confident, curious, and culturally connected. Whether you are diving into Parisian phrases or celebrating Hungarian heritage, I am here to help you build confidence, connect through language and enjoy the process every step of the way.
Course descriptions
These dynamic beginner courses invite learners to step into French / Hungarian with confidence and joy focusing on the essential skills to greet others, ask questions, introduce themselves, and talk about their world. Through engaging dialogues, playful pronunciation practice, and hands-on activities, students build the foundation for meaningful communication from the very first class. Learners will learn to greet others, pronounce words clearly, say and spell words and names, ask and respond to simple questions, introduce themselves and others, use numbers for age, addresses, and phone details, talk about their family and interests, describe their learning journey and goals and many more things. With personalized activities and practical vocabulary, these courses make it easy to connect in everyday French / Hungarian at school, at work, in the street, in conversation and wherever life may lead.
